Stump Removal

Using a machine called a stump grinder. The machine grinds the stump into chippings. This method is the most efficient method of destroying the stump leaving the area ready for the next stage of garden design, replanting, fencing or building works.

  • Modern and efficient machinery.
  • Any size of Tree Stump ground out.
  • Minimum ground disturbance.
  • Tree Stumps are removed to below ground level.

Techniques and timing when pruning trees or trimming hedges are important to future growth and recovery.

Many trees are protected by tree preservation orders, which means you require the councils consent to prune or fell them. In addition, there are controls over many other trees in conservation areas. If you are unsure about the status of trees which you intend to prune or fell (or you simply require further information) you should contact your local council or speak to our team who will be happy to advise.

The use and nature of hedges can be controlled through planning conditions and legal covenants. You don’t normally need permission to plant a hedge in your garden. There are no laws that say how high you can grow your hedge.

However, you are responsible for looking after any hedge on your property and for making sure it is not a nuisance to your neighbours or anyone else.

We sell seasoned logs for fires at home or for use in the commercial environment.

We also sell Woodchip both for mulching and weed suppression.

Our logs are produced from our tree operations and are processed in our main yard into quality firewood. Woodchip can be added to paths to alleviate wet conditions and to children’s play areas to provide an alternative floor material.
